ReelCast monitors your system's global cursor movements and focus events. It calculates a target center point, then applies smooth damping/inertia physics to move the 9:16 frame. This creates a natural panning movement, mimicking a physical camera tracker.
How does Gemini AI work in ReelCast? Are there hidden fees?
ReelCast connects directly to Google's official Gemini API to analyze videos, generate scripts, voiceovers, and subtitles. You configure your own personal API Key within the app. Data transmission occurs directly between your Mac and Google, ensuring top-tier security and it is completely FREE using Google's generous free tier.
What is the Camera Deadzone feature?
It is an intelligent buffer zone around the cursor. Moving your cursor slightly within this deadzone (such as the default 40% threshold) keeps the camera stationary. This significantly reduces micro-shaking, resulting in stable and reader-friendly video tutorials.
Does the app require specific macOS permissions?
